I love to give back what I have learned. Below are some snippets from my activities on panels, giving interactive workshops and design talks.

Origami

I know…what does origami have to do with interaction design? Lots, really. Origami finds it’s way into many, many of my workshops. I teach origami as a way to teach a visual language and communication to designers, and the idea of a prototype to non-designers… Does it work? In a word, yes. In more words – read this. Or read my posts here and here and here.

Design Thinking

After a year of beta-testing teaching Design Thinking and Design process at the Brooklyn Brainery and NYU Stern to non-designers (2011-2012), I launched the Design Gym with a group of great people. Read more on our site.

Design

I also have had the privilege of returning to Pratt where I got my MID degree, to talk about design and design process, and to teach a semester of portfolio design to senior Industrial Design students. Read more here. My material can be tailored to the needs of your students.
